DTU will host the annual conference of the Global Bioeconomy Alliance from
September 29 to October 3, 2025.
Global Bioeconomy Alliance is a network of leading international universities in bioeconomy, focusing on strengthening research and teaching in biosolutions. Members include universities from Germany, Denmark, Australia, Brazil, and Mexico.
The conference gathers researchers, students, industry representatives, and
policymakers to foster discussion, knowledge sharing, and new collaborations.

Registration instructions: On our registration website, you can sign up for three different events: – Monday, September 29: We are hosting a free conference day at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on policy and industry within bioeconomy. – Tuesday, September 30: You can join a free tour to Kalundborg Symbiosis (approximately 1.5 hours away from Copenhagen), where you can experience some of the major life science companies in Denmark. – Wednesday, October 1 to Friday, October 3: Paid participation is required, and a conference with a wide range of academic sessions on various bioeconomic themes will take place at Hotel Marienlyst, north of Copenhagen.
